Funding

To ensure a Safe Link Personal Medical Alarm is an option to everyone who needs one, we are pleased to offer three different options.

Please note that all these options include:

  • All servicing, monitoring and maintenance costs
  • All charges incurred from ambulance call-outs resulting from an alarm activation
  • Regular contact from us
  • Access to us 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

Option 1 - Purchase
We have fully serviced Personal Medical Alarms for sale, both new and second hand. A current price list is available by calling us.

Option 2 - Rent
This is a great option for short term clients. Please call us to obtain a current rental price list.

Option 3 - Funding
Some people may be eligible to receive funding through a Work & Income Disability Allowance (DA). This is subject to meeting the required criteria and approval from your doctor.
Our trained consultants can advise you on the application process. Please call us for no obligation information. Additional funding may be available from:

  • ACC
  • Veteran Affairs New Zealand (if you are a returned service man or woman)

No Hidden Costs

  • No compulsory term of agreement
  • No installation or service charges
  • No cost to reinstall alarm at a different address if you move anywhere within New Zealand
  • If you purchase a Safe Link Ltd Personal Medical Alarm and no longer require it, we will buy it back at a depreciated value
  • We will pay your emergency call-out ambulance fees when you use your Safe Link Ltd Personal Medical Alarm
  • While you are a client with us, we will renew any existing Ambulance Supporter Scheme memberships for you
  • We have a free calling number - 0800 111 231

After Sales Service

It is important to us that we maintain regular contact with our clients - this ensures we provide the best service to you. We do this by:

  • Monthly pendant testing
  • Annual onsite service visits
  • Prompt service visits when required
  • Regular newsletters
  • Handwritten birthday cards
  • Christmas Cards
  • Following emergency call-outs you will receive a card that expresses our sincere concern and a self addressed envelope to return any ambulance associated charges

After sales maintenance is at no cost to our clients and we regularly go that extra mile. If a little helping hand is needed, Safe Link Ltd is there with two. We pride ourselves in our genuine, caring, old fashioned values. Our caring doesn't stop at 5pm in the evening or begin at 8.30am in the morning. We are here for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year - that's our promise.
